WHERE TO YOU WANT TO GO IN 2025?

We saw our sun destination people venturing outside of their usual Mexico - Antigua, Aruba, Galapagos, Mallorca, Madeira, and Malta.

Let's not forget the perennial favourites of Italy, Spain and Portugal - still "hot" (pun intended) destinations for winter and otherwise.

Then Jordan (for me), along with the South of France river cruise along the Rhone, with Paris on the front end and Barcelona on the back.

For 2025, travellers are seeking a mix of adventure, culture, and natural beauty across diverse destinations.

Whether you're dreaming of exploring bustling cities, tranquil landscapes, or a combination of both, these destinations have something special to offer.

ALASKA

For those seeking rugged landscapes and breathtaking natural beauty, Alaska is a must-visit destination.

Known for it's fjords, glaciers, and abundant wildlife, Alaska offers a raw and untouched experience of nature.

Imagine taking a helicopter ride to a nearby glacier where Alaskan huskies will be waiting to take you on a thrilling sledding adventure.

Alaska is known for its world-class fishing, with opportunities to catch salmon, halibut and trout in some of the most picturesque settings imaginable.

The state is home to grizzlies, black bears, and polar bears.  One of the iconic adventures here is viewing bears in their natural habitat.

And don't miss joining a luxurious catamaran to be mesmerized by some of the world's most awe-inspiring glaciers.

The question you need to ask yourself - are you looking for an expedition style experience (as close to authentic as you can get) or luxury?

Is it the destination, the ship or both that matter?  Have a good heart-to-heart with yourself.  You know you better than anyone - except perhaps me!

EAST AND SOUTH AFRICA

Africa, as a continent, is drawing more attention for its diverse travel experiences.  East and South Africa will captivate your senses, from the safari experiences to the bustling streets of Cape Town and the lush vineyards of the Winelands (offering world-class wine tastings and culinary delights), Africa is a continent of unparalleled diversity.

Safari adventures in Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa are perennial favourites, offering visitors the chance to see the Big Five up close.

And let's not forget the pristine beaches of African islands like Zanzibar and Benguerra.  Africa offers a blend of landscapes, wildlife, and traditions that are truly unique.

GREECE

Greece continues to be a top vacation spot with its picturesque islands, ancient ruins, and mouth-watering cuisine.

For 2025, travellers are flocking to both the iconic destinations like Athens and Santorini as well as the lesser-known gems like the island of Naxos and the Peloponnese region.

Whether you're there to wander through ancient temples, sunbathe on pristine beaches, or savour traditional Greek dishes, Greece offers endless opportunities to make unforgettable memories.

Island-hopping remains a popular way to explore, allowing travellers to see multiple destinations on one trip.

JAPAN

Japan remains a top destination, appealing to travellers with its unique blend of tradition and cutting-edge modernity.

Tokyo's vibrant energy and Kyoto's serene temples offer contrasting experiences that allow visitors to dive into the country's rich history and culture.

Travellers witness the iconic cherry blossom season, or head north to explore Hokkaido's ski resorts and stunning natural landscapes.

In 2025, Japan will also continue to host a range of festivals, from the famous cherry blossom celebrations to the vibrant Ashikaga Wisteria Festival, offering endless ways to immerse in local customs.

Right now, the yen is down in value, making it a more affordable destination for our Canadian $$ to take us.

MOROCCO

Morocco is a treasure trove of experiences, where visitors can get lost in the bustling souks of Marrakesh, marvel at the intricate architecture of Fes, or embark on a desert adventure in the Sahara.

In 2025, Morocco's appeal lies in its ability to transport travellers to a different world - whether it's riding camels across sand dunes or savouring a meal in a ryiad.

From the coastal beauty of Essaouira to the dramatic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, Morocco's diverse regions promise a sensory journey.

A WORD ABOUT MY TRIP TO JORDAN IN 2024

Jordan has been on my bucket list since the COVID years, when the Canadian Director of the Jordan Tourism Board, Avril Matthews, shared her personal photos and experiences in the country during a virtual event for my customers and clients to enjoy during those very travel-barren times.

I had the pleasure of exploring Jordan first hand with Avril, this past June, along with many of my colleagues and suppliers as our 10th Anniversary National Conference was held there.

It's a country I want everyone to see and experience.  There isn't enough words to explain some of the things I saw and did, that left me wanting to go back and do more.

It was like being in a National Geographic photo shoot.  Awe was all around me - no photo I could take, could do it justice.

From Amman, to floating in the Dead Sea, trekking to Petra treasury and monastery, 4-wheeling it through the Wadi Rum desert with lunch at a Bedouin camp in the middle of the desert, to snorkelling in the Red Sea in Aqaba - a new and exciting encounter, each better than the last.

The people, the food (oh the food!), the country, the landscape and culture - unique and captivating.

It's inspired me to add my next experience to that - Egypt.

I'm considering escorting a river cruise down the Nile, including Luxor to Aswan, with land extensions as well, for 2025.  Please reach out to me if you're interested and I'll be sure to include you in my communications.
