The STAR of the party was the AmaWaterways Colors of Provence River Cruise I'll be escorting this November (2024), as well as some Musings of Morocco.
Big thanks for Aaron's On the Lake B&B in Dunnottar for hosting our get together, along with the amazing chacuterie board extraordinaire. Sugar Me Cookie Boutique Bakery was responsible for the sweet treats.
A shoutout as well, to Steina's Studio in Gimli, for her Gift Giveaways to accompany the presentation. And of course, our perennial favourite, Sandy Hook Soap Factory who also contributed to the Gift Giveaways.
AmaWaterways donated some swag for the travellers to use, for their cruise too!
We had French white and red wine, indicative of the region we'll be cruising through, to SIP.
Meats, cheeses, pickles, crackers, etc to SAVOUR with our SIP before we settled into our comfy chairs, before we started to SAIL.

First we began our journey in Paris, for 3 nights including the "City of Light" tour, along with an evening in Montmartre & Illuminations Tour next day.
Off to catch our TGV high-speed train through the French countryside, to board onto our cruise ship - the AmaKristina - for the next 7 nights. But first, we have a Lyon Cooking Demonstration to attend to!
Then we cruised down the Rhone River, stopping in Lyon, Vienne, Tournon, Viviers, Avignon and then Arles. Talked about the included market tours, bike tours, ancient roman walking tour, steam train ride, red wine & chocolate tasting or a hike and wine tasting. Then we have an Evening Ghost Walk in Viviers.
Avignon has several choices for the discerning cruiser. Walking & Papal Palace tour, Tastes of Avignon, or Bike Tour, Pont du Gard or a Truffle Farm Visit.
Arles presents us with a Van Gogh Walking Tour, Bike Tour or Les Baux de Provence walking tour. Oh la la!
Once we disembark in Arles, we are scooted off to the TGV high-speed train station and taken to Barcelona, for 3 nights. The Best of Barcelona city tour for one day, then The Mountains and Abbey of Montserrat excursion for the next day.
Many questions and engaging conversation was shared with everyone who came - SIP SAVOUR SAIL was the greatest way to start, the May long weekend.
